Willarong Point

Bouldering and Easy Toproping

Introduction

A pleasant little crag that overlooks Port Hacking and was discovered and developed in the 1960s by the 2nd Caringbah Rovers. The best problems here are the "London Bridge Overhang" (grade 14), a two move mantel problem, and "Quartz Revenge" (grade 16), located on the western side of the eastern-most cliff. In addition to these two problems, there are about 12 short toprope routes that vary between grades 8 and 16. They all have tree or bolt top rope anchors.

Access

To get there, park in the cul-de-sac at the southern end of Willarong Crescent, Caringbah. Walk west and climb down through the London Bridge Arch to a track. This winds back under the start of the climbs (which are distinguished by manky BRs here and there).
