Timor Rock

Introduction

A large crag on the right side of the road as you come in from Coonabarabran. There is a picnic area and a creek. There was a camping ground and marked trail to the peak in the past, but both are now long gone.

Access

Cross the creek and wander up through the scrub.


Climbs are described anticlockwise from W side.

Up 2 m to large crack, then up L past fish-hook-shaped boulder. 2. 35 m. Round R from ledge to smooth, vertical crack. Up this for 10m, then round L to chimney. Chimney to grassy ledge. 3. 20m. Chimney, as for Intrigue.
