Queens Park

Crag faces west

Bouldering

Introduction

An extensive line of west facing cliffs visible at the eastern end of Queen's Park (below John St, Waverly). Unfortunately most of the cliff is incredibly chossy. There is a smaller, overhanging block with good rock and great problems located at the northern end (the left hand end, facing the cliff), and also a couple of scattered problems on the rest of the cliff (including a few with top rope bolts). The crag is great on sunny winter's afternoons since it really picks up the afternoon sun. Unfortunately this also makes it an oven during summer! The crag is covered in detail in the 2001 Sydney Bouldering guide.
