Introduction

Another two of the eight Akuna Bay bouldering areas.

Access

From the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park entrance just north of the intersection of McCarr's Ck Rd and General San Martin Dr, head north along General San Martin Dr for 2.1kms until you reach a parking area on the right (with a sign saying "Ellis Trig"). To get to the Plus 1 area, walk south (back the way you came) for about 20m to a small turn out on the opposite side of the road. Follow the left hand track until you find a pipe then follow this downhill for about 20m until two large boulders ("The Guardians") appear to your right. Various boulder problems are scattered along the band of rock to the west of these boulders, with the best located in the overhanging area at the far end. To get to Green Snake Gully, follow the fire trail from the carpark for about 50m. The crag is on your left.
