There's some good bouldering at both ends of Freshwater Beach (also known as Harbord Beach). At the southern end is an old vacant house site with a white staircase nearby. Head up to the left of the staircase to find a 10m pocketed traverse. There's also some good dyno problems in the small overhang to the left. At the northern end of the beach there are some boulders above the concrete track that heads to the rock pool. Take care with the rock here, and watch out for broken glass. There is also a good 30m long, 4m high wall between Freshwater and Curl Curl, below the intersection of Carrington Pde and Lumsdaine Dr. The wall is located right down next to the ocean, and can be accessed via a crevice that leads down to the rock platform. Note that the bouldering here is tide and wave dependent. The recorded climbs are at the southern end of the beach, below Pavillion St Park, Queenscliff - there is an obvious path down to the bottom of the cliff on the right. It's shady from 2pm onward and very pleasant when there's a sea breeze.
