Crag faces north

Bouldering

Introduction

An excellent beginner's bouldering area in an absolutely stunning setting. The best time to visit is winter, since the cliff faces north and can roast in summer. It's highly visible to non-climbing public, so please behave in such a way to not draw attention or offend. Bear in mind the crag falls within the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park where roped climbing is currently banned.

Access

Drive north along West Head Rd and park at the start of the Challenger Track. Follow the track right out to the end - the bouldering is all located below the cleared area at the end (about 2km from the car).
