Introduction
Cape Solander is located within the Botany Bay National Park, so therefore climbing is officially banned here. The area is explicitly mentioned in the Plan of Management for Botany Bay National Park, and it seems that NPWS may have mistaken some old fishermen's descents for climbs. Certainly one look at the cliffs here will you convince that the ban on climbing here is no great loss! However, Monty reckons there is some excellent bouldering at sea level below the lookout at the end of Cape Solander Road. Check it out, take some photos, and update this guide!
